ICAS elects new Chairman and Secretary in January 2008
Secretary and Chairman resign from office four months before end of term
Moscow, September 26, 2007 - Chairman Michael Justesen, Naviair, announced that he will resign from his position as chairman for ICAS due to work changes four months earlier than scheduled by his term.
The former Secretary Per E. Andersen, Airport Copenhagen, has already left his position due to a high workload. As an interim secretary Axel C. Husfeldt, Hamburg Airport, will support Mr. Justesen until the next election.
The participating members at ICAS 17 agreed on an election for a new Chairman and Secretary to take place during ICAS 18 on January 15th-16th, 2008 in Arlanda, Stockholm, deviant from the Terms of Reference. In consequence of these incidents, the elected Chariman and Secretary will have a slightly longer term until the spring meeting in 2010 in Brussels, where the next election but one will take place.
