
Skyguide takes ICAS chairmanship
New ICAS Secretary and Chairman were elected during the ICAS meeting in January 2008
Copenhagen, March, 2008 – The ICAS Members attending the ICAS January meeting in 2008 elected Mr. Guido Deplazes as new ICAS Chairman and Mr. Einar Kjeilen as the new ICAS secretary.
Mr. Guido Deplazes has six year experience with Airport Surface Movement Systems. He is the responsible engineer at Skyguide for the A-SMGCS system at Zurich Airport. He is being an ICAS member since 2004.
Einar Kjeilen has a wide experience with Airport Surface Movement Systems throughout the world. He worked for more then 25 years at Park Air Systems, the last 17 years as both a System Responsible and as Project Manager for A-SMGCS projects. Since two years, he is the responsible engineer for the A-SMGCS system at Geneva Airport.
Both of them are very much looking forward to lead the ICAS group with all its enthusiasm, experience and friendship.
