Terma Radar Selected for Indonesian Navy Hospital Assistance Ships
Terma was recently awarded a contract to supply a SCANTER 6002 radar for the latest Indonesian Navy’s Hospital Assistance Ship (BRS). The radar delivery is planned for June 2021. The award follows a previous contract signed in 2019 to supply a similar radar for the BRS “Wahidin Soedirohusodo”, delivered in January 2021.

Terma Introduces Enhanced Surface Movement Radar (eSMR) for Airports
The flexibility of software-defined radar systems and advantages in digital signal processing allow for processing more information and this improves the situational awareness capability as well as the accuracy, high precision and improved detection. eSMR also gives a possible detection and classification of various moving targets such as birds within and above the aerodrome maneuvering area.
